Laminated and shaped letters. Cedar wood.
Dunnington School, York.
This was a simple yet effective use of lettering. I cross laminated one inch section of Cedar wood so there would be no weak cross grain areas on the lettering and then fretted out the letters and fixed them about one inch off the wall of the school. In strong sunlight this gives a lovely shadow enhancement to the lettering.
